Theatre for Development - Promoting Rights and Development through the Arts
In the past few years, Save the Children and their partner organisations in South Asia and sub-Saharan Africa have used this exciting process to aim for ‚ a much more significant level of children‚¬s and young people‚¬s participation in working out and using strategies for tackling oppression, poverty and exclusion.‚¬
Save the Children and the One World Centre NI are working in partnership to facilitate a short TfD programme with young people leading up to World Aids Day on December 1st.
This would involve 3-4 group meetings using drama as a medium to raise awareness of HIV & AIDS from a global perspective.
If you know a group of young people who would like to be involved, please contact Jackie Balmer (Youth Officer ) at the One World Centre for more details Tel: 028 90241879 or e-mail Jackie@owcni.org.uk
